Shamgar in the Bible wasn’t a soldier—he was a faithful farmer whom God used to accomplish a great victory. Inspired by his example, the Shamgar Course is a practical training designed especially for everyday believers who want to grow and serve more effectively in their church.

Through relaxed, small-group workshops you’ll learn the basics of Christian discipleship, including developing a consistent devotional life, studying the Bible, growing in prayer, and sharing Christ with others. By the end of the course, you’ll gain simple, practical tools to grow in your walk with Christ and to help disciple others—multiplying ministry as we follow Jesus’ call to make disciples.

Four Saturday Sessions: 3/28, 4/25, 5/23, 6/20
Session 1: 8:30am to 4pm.  All other sessions: 8:45am to 4pm
Cost: $40 for materials plus $10-12 for lunch at each session to be paid at check-in. Payable by cash, check or Venmo. (Materials cost can be divided between 2 sessions.)

This ministry is all about guys getting together to do things they love to do and build friendships in the process! At this time we have two “fun” events that we provide: Guys & Guns, and Guys & Golf.

Twice a year we gather together for a delicious breakfast, good fellowship, and the opportunity to hear one of our guys teach and share about issues that affect us as men.
