Carlon has been the senior pastor-teaching pastor at Covenant since 1991. Graduating from Dallas Seminary in 1980, he and his wife Bonnie served in a church in Kansas for 11 years prior to coming to CCC.
Carlon grew up in Nebraska, so naturally he is a fan of the the true Big Red. Carlon and Bonnie have four grown children: Mary, married to Aaron, lives in Omaha with their three sons; Ben and his wife Angela live and teach here in Mustang and Yukon; Andy, is a Lt. in the Army National Guard; and Mark is in his third year of college.
Carlon enjoys working on and around the house, trying to keep everyone's car running, sports of any kind, and reading a good book. He also serves on the Trustee Board of Grace University in Omaha, from where he and Bonnie both graduated. Bonnie teaches KinderMusic and serves in the MOPS ministry as well as choir director for CCC.
