Children

We believe even our littlest ones can learn!
On Sunday mornings our teachers share the love of Jesus through music, play, and supervised activities designed with the ability of the children in mind.  Our littlest ones are loved well by a team of trained teachers and volunteers that have a heart to serve children while displaying the love of Christ.

Our children age 2 through Pre K classes use a creative Bible-based curriculum taught by loving and trained teachers. The lessons draw kids to Jesus and help them understand that He is their lifelong friend and Savior. Each week your child will bring home Family FunTime pages designed to give you the opportunity to play, listen and talk with your child while learning God’s Word.

Mother’s Day Out is a Christian preschool program that meets on Mondays and Wednesdays from
9:00 am to 2:30 pm during the school year for children aged seven months to five years. A variety of activities are planned each day that center on a curriculum and include crafts, music, exercise, and free play. For more information click below.

During the 9:30 am worship service each Sunday, we offer classes for nursery - pre-school and KidsBreak for those in grades kindergarten through 3rd. Once the message begins, children may exit for an alternate activity. This is designed to be a “break” for parents and kids.

At 11 am each Sunday morning KidsTime children in Kindergarten through 4th grades meet in the Fellowship Hall for upbeat music, skits, relevant Bible lessons, and small groups by grades. Our curriculum provides a Biblical foundation and our leaders provide fun, encouragement, and care.

KidsBreak is designed to allow our children more time to mature before they enter the teaching time of the worship service. During the Pastor’s message, we provide an alternative activity for children in K – 3rd grade as another way for them to learn spiritual truths on their level. Children return to their parents before the end of the service.

Our KidsTime curriculum, “Explore the Bible”, helps kids K- 4th grade dig deep into God’s Word in a way that sticks!  Each week brings the Bible to life through stories, equips kids with skills to know and study scripture on their own, and encourages them to apply truth to their lives. Kids begin the morning together in a large group for music, games, and the Bible lesson.  Kids then break into graded small groups where small group leaders reinforce the lesson and build relationships through activities and group discussion.

The goal of this ministry is to guide families to know God, love others, and live the gospel. On the first Wednesday of each month parents will be invited to gather for a time of equipping and encouragement. While parents meet, kids age K-4th grade will be equipped themselves through Bible stories, games, and scripture memory.
